Take a look at yourself ..."

Hoo, boy. This just proves that there are nutcases all over the spectrum. Too bad we have this kind of garbage out there. Is he right in his thinking about keeping Bristol Palin out of the equation? Yup. Is he advancing his opinion in a reasonable way? Uh, not exactly. Whether you like Obama or not, he does not deserve anything like this attack on his parentage. It's nothing more than neighbors gossiping across the fence, if your neighbors happen to have a million watt broadcasting facility.
Enough of this lack of civility. It looks like the crackpots on all sides have hijacked the discussion. We don't need it, we should ignore it. Make up your minds based on what's valuable, not on who's screwing who.

Yup. You're right, nowayjose. I don't like it either. Political fighting is like that, bare-knuckle in-the-dirt brawling. I've seen it at all levels, and after the campaign is over the combatants actually get along pretty well.

Here's the thing, though. Most people respond to this kind of garbage. I believe our political style, as well as whatever is presented in the media (both news and entertainment) is merely a reflection of our society. Most voters eat this swill with a spoon and ask for more. The only time many of these folks complain is when it's their own candidate getting ripped apart.
